It all began with pie.
On a cold winter’s night, in a cozy cabin in the woods, we were cuddling with pie and cheesy Christmas movies after a hard day of writing real books.
And then the idea came.
What would happen if an adult film star was cast in a low-budget Christmas movie? What would happen if she had to keep her identity a secret…even if her former boy bander co-star already knows who she is and deeply, um, appreciates her work?
What would happen if we wrote something totally silly and happy and dirty, without worrying about how utterly bananaballs it was?
And thus Christmas Notch was born. It became our secret obsession with the sole purpose of either making each other laugh hysterically or gush over the hotness of it all. It was our stupid happy escape, and one of the most joyful creative experiences either of us has ever had.
